Incheon Airport to Seoul: T1/T2, train, bus or taxi
Check your arrival terminal and the Korean address of your accommodation first. Compare AREX for a rail connection, an airport bus for a useful stop near your hotel, or a designated taxi for door-to-door travel. Choose by your final destination, luggage and arrival time, not the train name alone.

SourcesBefore you choose
- Match the terminal to your flight. At T1, airport bus ticket counters are inside and outside the 1F arrivals hall; at T2, Seoul-bound buses and ticket counters are in the B1 Transportation Center. Follow your terminal’s signs rather than T1 directions at T2.
- For rail, compare AREX express and all-stop services on the operator’s map. They serve different stops: check the connection to your accommodation before buying. For a bus, check the exact stop and the walk from it to your hotel; allow time for immigration and baggage before a booked departure.
- For a taxi, use a designated stand and show your Korean destination address. Confirm the vehicle type, payment and total-cost conditions, including tolls. Check current departures and fares with the operator, especially after a late arrival.
Questions before you go
- Can KoreaPocket calculate the airport train route?
- No. The subway tool covers its supported Seoul Metro station graph, not AREX or the full airport journey. Use the official airport and AREX links for the airport leg; use the tool only for supported onward city travel. Sources: Incheon Airport · AREX
- Does T2 use the same bus boarding floor as T1?
- No. T2’s Seoul, Gyeonggi and intercity buses use the B1 Transportation Center. T1 bus ticket counters and boarding guidance are around the 1F arrivals area. Open the guide for your actual arrival terminal. Sources: Incheon Airport · T2
