In Korea, call 112 for police or 119 for fire, rescue and an ambulance. Use the buttons below for urgent help. 1330 is tourism help, not emergency dispatch; 1339 is infectious-disease advice.

Before you choose

  1. For crime or immediate danger, call 112. For fire, rescue or urgent medical help, call 119. Dial these numbers within Korea.
  2. Tell the dispatcher your location, what happened and the help needed. If available, show the Korean address or a nearby landmark. Say which language you need and follow the dispatcher’s instructions.
  3. For nonemergency travel questions or interpretation, call 1330. Its listed phone languages are Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, Thai and Malay. Filipino and Indonesian are not listed. Community posts and Discord are not emergency reporting channels.

Is 1339 the number for an ambulance?
